Families First
Families First helps families who need help. It is available for all families. The type of help you could get depends on your families specific needs.
It is administered by your local authority.
They can help with:
- assessing the needs of your family and putting together support to meet these needs
- coordinating support from different agencies
- arranging support if someone in your family has a disability
- advising on specific projects that can help your families specific needs
Cardiff Family Advice and Support offers a range of information, advice and assistance for children, young people and their families in Cardiff. The team can provide information and advice on:
- Family life
- Child behaviour
- Childcare
- Parental support
- School attendance
- Employment, money and housing
- Information and signposting to other services
