Annual Flu Vaccinations 2023/24

We are now organising our annual Flu Vaccination Clinics, which we anticipate will be held on the following Saturdays in October (7th and 21st) as well as weekday and evening clinics. Please be assured that we have reserved enough flu vaccinations for this winter if you are eligible.

Eligible groups for NHS influenza vaccination 2023/24:

Residents in care homes

All adults aged 50 years and over

Persons aged 5 to 49 years in a clinical risk group

All children aged 2-3 (Intranasal vaccine)

Persons aged 16 to 49 who are carers

Persons aged 5 to 49 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression

Please do not contact the Surgery regarding booking your flu appointment at present. Once our clinics and delivery of our vaccinations have been confirmed, all eligible patients will receive a letter or SMS with more information on how to book your flu vaccination appointment by the end of October.

It is vitally important to be vaccinated this winter and we would encourage all our patients if eligible to have the COVID Booster as well as the Flu Vaccination this year.

Please note that autumn COVID Boosters will be delivered by Cardiff & Vale Health Board and you will be contacted by them for your appointment. Please do not contact the surgery in regards to COVID Boosters.
