Opening Times

The Practice Of Health operates every weekday from Monday to Friday, with the exception of Bank Holidays such as Easter and Christmas holidays. The surgery operates on weekdays from 8.00am until 6.30pm. 

Please note that our surgery doors do NOT open until 8.30am, and remain open all day until 6.00pm

Our opening times are as follows:

Surgery opens 8.00am for AM clinic

The front desk is not manned by a receptionist until 8.30am, as in the interest of fairness for patients attempting to access our appointments, our receptionists prioritise our telephone lines at their busiest time, and therefore our surgery doors are not opened until this time.

Patients who wish to book an appointment directly at the practice, or attend the surgery for any other reason, are free to do so after this time.

Patients are advised to attend after 3.00pm for prescription collection, and for general queries at the desk. Once our afternoon surgery has ended and all appointments have been completed with our clinicians, the surgery doors close at 6.00pm. Our staff are available via telephone for a further half hour until 6.30pm, when the Out Of Hours service commences and the practice premises closes.

This surgery does not open on weekends. Emergency care can be accessed via the Out Of Hours GP service by calling NHS 111. Please only attend A&E due to serious illness or life threatening emergency. 

Nominate a Pharmacy

Please inform reception if you would rather collect your medication direct from a pharmacy. A consent form is available at our reception desk to complete in order to nominate a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent directly to, or can be downloaded from here.

Alternatively, you may wish to speak with your preferred pharmacy to sign up for a prescription collection, whereby your pharmacy will order, collect and deliver your prescription to you where suitable.
