Carers & the COVID vaccination
The Mass Vaccination programme is currently underway, with the local health board now vaccinating people in cohort 6. This includes carers, but until recently the guidance regarding the eligibility for carers have been unclear.
People in receipt of Carers Allowance should have already been invited to attend for their vaccination. However if you have not heard been contacted, please call the COVID queries line on 02921 836 341.
Cardiff & Vale UHB have now created an online form to complete, to better identify unpaid carers and ensure they are invited for the vaccination. Please visit the link below and fill out the online form.
Once the form has been submitted and you have been approved as eligible, your details will be passed to the booking centre who will arrange your appointment.
