COVID Weekend Clinics

Our surgery held it's first extended weekend vaccination clinic on Saturday 23rd for our over 80's patients and we successfully vaccinated 60 patients!

As this was our first weekend clinic we were able to see that some areas needed improvement to help the clinic run more smoothly and to ensure our patients are seen and vaccinated quickly and safely.

We need to ask for our patients help in the running of the clinic by following these simple steps:

• Attend TO TIME of your appointment and not early - early attendance may result in you having to wait outside until your appointment, or being asked to come back later.
• Wear suitable clothing to provide easy access to the upper arm for your vaccine - unsuitable clothing may delay your appointment.
• Do not attend if you have any symptoms of coronavirus, or feel unwell in any way - you may be putting other vulnerable people at risk.
• Wear a mask/ face covering to your appointment - this is MANDATORY as our practice is very small. Don't worry, if all goes to plan you should be in and out within 10 minutes.
