Receive results by SMS

Would you like to receive your test result via SMS? 

If your answer is YES, ensure your telephone number is up to date and that you have provided consent to receive via SMS.

We are aware of the difficulties trying to get through to the practice at times, and want to save you having to call us for your test results. We will therefore begin texting your results directly to you, advising if they are normal or if further action is required, as well as making you aware if there are outstanding results to follow.

This will be a gradual process and we will start with a minimal number of tests. Once this process is embedded, we will add further tests with the view for the majority of patient results to be sent via text in the future
